Chai Chenak began in New Brunswick, NJ, founded by Khizer Ali Syed to bring the food and culture of Pakistan's Sindh region to New Jersey — a truck-and-folk-art themed restaurant with colorful, hand-painted decor pulled straight from Pakistani truck art. Our catering arm brings that same kitchen to your event.

We bring people together over the flavors we grew up with. From a bun kebab off the griddle to a vibrant dessert table, our stations bring a sense of discovery, generosity, and home to your gathering.

We cater events across New York and New Jersey from our home in New Brunswick. Include your venue or city in your inquiry so we can confirm travel and setup details.

Can I customize my menu?

Yes. Use the menu planner to share your favorite stations, or tell us what you have in mind. We’ll work with you on a menu that suits your event.

How do you handle dietary needs and allergies?

Include dietary requirements and allergies in your inquiry. Our team will discuss ingredients, preparation, and what we can accommodate before you confirm your menu.

Does sending an inquiry book my date?

No. We’ll first confirm availability, service details, and pricing with you. Your event is booked only once the arrangements are confirmed directly with our team.

What should I include in my catering budget?

Food, service style, staffing, equipment, travel, and applicable taxes can affect the total. Share your overall budget and we’ll discuss what fits.

How are my inquiry details used?

Your contact information and event details are stored to help our catering team review and respond to your request. We don’t ask for payment information here.
